We recommend basing yourself in Kochi — it's well-connected, full of things to do, and an easy 1.5-hour drive to Kumarakom. If you'd rather stay independently, explore our recommended resorts below.

Fort Kochi is closeby and is charming and walkable; Ernakulam is more modern and central. Both are well-served by Uber.
